jean jacket dreaming

Do you have one of those pieces in your closet that you heavily wear on rotation on the daily? Well, for the past couple of weeks, I've been detailing all my outfits with this vintage jean jacket that I thrifted last year.  I was going through my clothes to see which one's to throw away, donate, or sell. I completely forgot about this sweet steal of a purchase from the Treasure Island Flea Market. It's been sitting in my closet for months and I never touched it! Shame on me. But, I'm glad it's getting the attention it deserves.

Also, I've been adding charming little pin details to my jackets. My best mate got me into them when she got me some during the holidays. I've slowly been collecting more and pinning them to a few of my jackets.

I'm so elated it's getting warmer and the sun is out more! It's been pouring down rain from the Gods above the past several weeks (felt more like months!) that I nearly got tired of the rain and grey clouds; and I love the rain and grey clouds. I cannot wait for Spring and Summer and wearing more light clothing and heading to the beach again!

Oh! And this weekend I'm driving down to Santa Barbara to surprise my cousin for his 30th birthday! Photos of my weekend vacation will be posted as promptly as quickly as I edit photos. Ha ha.

Enjoy the weekend babes xx

There is never an opportunity where I am not learning--learning something about myself, my feelings, what I want. I crave both isolation and societal gatherings. As a hopeless romantic, I yearn to fall in love, but on the other hand my dirty mind only makes me want one thing. I want your attention but don't care if you want me or not; I'm okay with being alone. My nature of contradictions is confusing but it's my genuine character.
I'm learning to be completely honest with myself in every aspect of my life. Speaking my truths to friends and family--and even strangers--is terrifying, but there's a satisfaction in being forward with my intentions. Sometimes, being on the receiving end of the truth is painful--but it won't kill me nor make me weak. As cliché as it sounds, it will make me stronger, my skin a little thicker, my perspective more understanding.
My emotional empathy for others is deep and unconditional. I have always been all heart, all compassion. I…
